If you are a hiker, the path to the Vulcano Crater Fossa should not be missed. The round trip takes about 2 hours from the dock area. After reaching the island of Vulcano, together with our VOLCANOLOGICAL GUIDE, climb the crater (medium-low difficulty level). The climb is a pleasant walk of about 50/60 minutes along a path surrounded by gorse, volcanic boulders, and a black and sandy bottom composed mainly of volcanic dust.
