If you are a hiker, the path to the Vulcano Crater Fossa should not be missed. The round trip takes about 2 hours from the dock area. Once you reach the top of the cone, you will be able to admire the fumarole field on the west side of the crater (Gran Cratere) and, if you can bear the smell and have no breathing problems, you can go to one of the few points on the earth’s surface in where you can see the drops of molten sulfur.

The tour of Vulcano will begin by skirting Vulcanello, a place where the lava has created particularly "monstrous" figures. In fact, this locality is called the Valley of the Monsters. Subsequently, the tour will continue to reach the wonderful Faraglioni, the Grotta degli Angeli, and the Grotta del Cavallo. During navigation, provided that the weather and sea conditions allow it and always at the sole discretion of the captain of the motor ship, there will be the opportunity to make fantastic dives from the boat.
After swimming in the sea in front of the islands of Lipari and Vulcano and with the Gran Cratere as a backdrop to your dives, you will sail to reach the Venus Pool. This very particular body of water is a natural pool with incredibly turquoise water. Once at the pool of Venus few will be able to resist without diving into the sea.
The tour will continue along with the Gelso locality, which is a small almost uninhabited village with a wonderful lighthouse overlooking the coast. Also in Gelso there will be a stop for another swim in the sea. The tour will end at the port of Vulcano.
